Clara Prima began her photography career in 2010 as an internship photographer in Jakarta Globe for three months. She then returned to Yogyakarta to finish her studies in photography and graduated in September 2011 from Institut Seni Indonesia (Indonesian Art Institute). During her studies she worked as an independent photographer for several print and online media in Indonesia. Currently she is a permanent contributor for Agency France Presse (AFP) in Yogyakarta.
