Jefri Tarigan

Jefri Tarigan works as a photo journalist since 2006. His career began at Majalah Budaya before he later moved to SCTV’s Liputan6.com as image and graphic editor where he stayed until 2010. He is now an independent photo journalist for several print media and a photo contributor for a number of foreign news agencies and photo news agencies.

One form of commitment to advancing the education world in the country is the implementation of the Permata PhotoJournalist Grant (PPG), PermataBank’s first program dedicated to developing the knowledge and talents of Indonesian photo journalists. In their daily duties, they create visual works and inform the public about what is happening in this world. PPG is expected to become a learning platform so that they are able to present their best work to the community.
