At the beginning, Prayogi didn’t care much about photography. However, in 2006, when he joined the Student Activity Unit (UKM) Wetta Aksa photography and journalism at National University, he discovered his calling. It was fun to play around with camera, he thought. His senior once told him this, which he still remembers today—“Your photo will become a part of history, especially the history of your life.”
In 2011, he joined Republika daily as a photojournalist. For him, the job is all about ‘play’—in that he never feels like he is forced to do it, and rather enjoys every moment of it.
